Why Enforcing Immigration Laws is a Matter of National Security
It is shocking and disturbing to see violent protestors attack federal authorities enforcing immigration laws here in the United States. Anyone who illegally entered the United States is subject to deportation and most likely has violated many other laws including identity theft and possessing counterfeit identifications to pass as a legal resident of the U.S. These federal officers and agents took an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic while faithfully discharging the duties of their position. These agitators are obstructing and endangering the lives of these brave men and women. There is no place for violence in our society, and if these protestors are so compelled to change immigration laws, then it MUST be done peacefully and through their representatives in the U.S Congress.
It is not fair for those waiting for years to enter the United States legally while others want to skip the line and the vetting process. The United States government which represents and is funded by the people of the U.S. is entrusted to protect the citizens of this country from terrorists, gang members, murderers and other heinous criminals that want to cause havoc in the United States. A country without borders or laws is destined to fail and cease to exist.
It is not acceptable to see elected government officials encouraging confrontations with ICE officials and other federal agents involved in assisting Department of Homeland Security. It has become vogue for actors, singers and celebrities who are calling for ICE to leave all American cities so sanctuary cities can be created all throughout the United States. ‘ICE OUT!’ has become the liberal rallying cry of the last year. They are causing more damage to the U.S. than any outside forces could ever do.
It is vital for national security that the border is secure, and those who do enter illegally are deported once they are identified as illegals. Many liberals see this as a form of discrimination and believe they are saving these poor people from being deported. In reality, they are doing their country a major disservice by protecting those who have not been properly vetted to enter the United States. There is a system in place, and it must be respected even if a majority of those entering illegally our hard-working people. The rule of law MUST be respected, and if they are breaking the law to enter the United States this trend will continue with fake identifications, documents and in other forms. America is a great country that welcomes legal immigrants from all over the world, but not those who want to circumvent immigration laws for their own personal reasons. The solution is simple: Illegals MUST self deport and later go through the process of becoming a legal immigrant to the United States. They will have no future in the United States while they are living in fear until they are caught and deported.
